Nordic Semiconductor nRF7000 Low-Power Wi-Fi® 6 Companion ICs specialize in SSID-based Wi-Fi by efficiently scanning Wi-Fi access points. The Nordic Semiconductor nRF7000 doesn't handle direct internet Wi-Fi connections but integrates with Nordic's nRF91 Series cellular SiPs. Developers can harness GNSS, cellular, and SSID-based Wi-Fi locationing by combining the nRF7000 IC with the nRF91 Series SiP for precise and reliable location data while also using the nRF91 Series SiP for cloud connectivity via cellular networks.
