280 Series Corrib® Resistors

Ohmite 280 Series Corrib® Resistors are designed to withstand frequent stop-start cycles characteristic of motor starting. These resistors feature a ribbed construction that aids in rapid cooling and a corrugated-resistive wire that is securely fused to the ceramic core by a protective vitreous enamel coating to improve durability. The 280 series offers hollow-core units that can be securely fastened to chassis surfaces with thru bolts and brackets. Ohmite 280 Series Corrib Resistors are suitable for applications involving high currents at low resistance values.
