STSAFE-L010 Authentication System-on-Chip

STMicroelectronics STSAFE-L010 Authentication System-on-Chip (SoC) is a secure element providing authentication and data management services to a local host. The main role of the STMicroelectronics STSAFE-L010 is to enable the host system to verify and differentiate between authorized and unauthorized peripherals or consumables. Authentication is achieved by generating a digital signature in response to a challenge sent by the host. This challenge can include traceability or zone-specific data for enhanced verification. The signature is created using a unique Ed25519 private key embedded in each chip during secure personalization at ST.
