DP83TC817S-Q1 Automotive Ethernet Transceiver

Texas Instruments DP83TC817S-Q1 Automotive Ethernet Transceiver provides all the physical layer functions required to transmit and receive data, as well as xMII interface flexibility. This IEEE 802.3bw automotive Ethernet physical layer transceiver complies with Open Alliance EMC and interoperable specifications over unshielded single twisted-pair cable. The device supports an OA TC-10 low-power sleep feature with wake forwarding, which reduces system power consumption when communication is not needed. The integrated IEEE 802.1AE line rate security with authentication and optional encryption support helps secure communication over the network. Texas Instruments DP83TC817S-Q1 Automotive Ethernet Transceiver features a 6mm x 6mm VQFN (36) package that is footprint-compatible with TI's 100BASE-T1 PHYs and 1000BASE-T1 PHYs for design scalability. Applications include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), body electronics and lighting, and telematics.
